Trip to Kodagu (Coorg) was with the primary purpose of taking an holy dip (immersion) at Talakaveri – the originating place of river Kaveri (Cauvery).
As the post title says, this post is about some sights one would generally encounter on a road trip to Coorg. This post is by no means doing justice to the lush green meadows, sprawling coffee plantations or the numerous hillocks one would usually see in Coorg. This is just but a glimpse of Coorg I could capture when I wasn’t on the drivers seat. Images are not of excellent quality as they were either taken on the move or with very less time on hands.
Barren trees guarded by a Scare crow
The Scare crow stands out in the scene and the fact that the plot of land its guarding is barren gives it a stark contrast

My Mother-in-law did her schooling here.

More posts to come on Coorg, but I don’t think I have taken many snaps at
Talakaveri, there were big signboards put up saying no photographs of the
holy springs. besides I was busy coaxing the missus to take the holy dip! 😛
